Research Action 1 / Lille
7 October 2024 – 13 October 2024
Lille, Lille

After a first residency in Prague (Czech Republic) a few weeks earlier in a school with teenagers, we organise a second residency in October in Lille (France) with seven artists that will experiment in the desacralized church Sainte Marie Madeleine in the old part of the city.

During an entire week, the 7 artists will experiment to create one or several artistic pieces that will be presented during 2 concerts at the end of the week. A show gathering all the musicians participating to this residency will also be organized.

To meet the challenges of Access, the artists will pay particular attention to the listening experience they will be offering to the audience, and will seek to exploit the different playing, movement and listening possibilities offered by the church different spaces. They will also focus on proposing a participating experience to the audience, who will be invited in one way or another to participate in the artistic creation.
Apart from this, they are given complete freedom to experiment as they wish, sharing their different experiences, approaches and inspirations to create together artistic proposals offering a more opened experience to the audience.
